The Key Account Executive will report to the Vice President of Direct Sales. He/she will be responsible for the entire account acquisition process, from initial customer prospecting through to contract signature (including cold calling, prospecting, proposal generation, contract negotiations, credit approval, etc.), in order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives.        


  • Sell Retarus products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending the appropriate messaging solutions/ Selling Retarus cloud services proactively to B2B customers
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor
  • Develop business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Effectively communicate with management and provide suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels
  • Manage the sales cycle and forecast to prioritize and engage resources effectively by managing your sales funnel in CRM on a daily basis
  • Establishing contact and developing relationships with customers
  • Holding presentations, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, negotiating and contract closing
  • Effectively communicating with internal units relevant for the sales process like technical consulting, legal and implementation
  • Forward thinking and accurate sales funnel management in CRM and forecasting on a regular basis


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related fields or equivalent Sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales focused on prospecting into enterprise accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Client relationship building and nurturing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and prospecting skills
  • Enthusiastic and energetic
  • Highly motivated to establish and pursue a successful sales career within a globally leading IT company
  • Strong passion for IT, innovation and business processes
  • Strong communication skills and customer orientation
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude

  Eligibility requirements

  • Eligible to lawfully work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements 
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Willingness to take and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening 
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to customer sites (car)
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
