Junior Project Manager

The Project Manager will work in our NJ location , closely with all departments to implement cloud based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for customers, achieve customer satisfaction and contribute to company revenue. The Project Manager will direct and coordinate a variety of domestic and international customer projects with a range of complexities and report directly to the Head of Implementations of Retarus, US.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Retarus product knowledge to plan and manage SaaS solution implementations in fulfillment of contractual customer deliverables
  • Steer implementation tasks for customer discovery, proof of concept, pilots, migration planning, service configuration, testing, production cutover and customer ramping in accordance with prescribed timeline
  • Achieve service stability and smoothly transition customer’s SaaS platform to Retarus Operations for ongoing production support
  • Collaborate with customers, Retarus departments (IT Services & Operations, Sales, Product Line Teams, Legal, Finance, Central Billing, Contract Management, Security), vendors and agency partners to anticipate and resolve issues, mitigate risks and minimize project delays
  • Apply judgment and business acumen to escalate issues when necessary
  • Compile and present relevant information to appropriate internal and external stakeholders for accurate service configuration and sound implementation decisions
  • Recognize out-of-scope customer requirements and engage Retarus Sales Engineers for custom solution development and contract modification
  • Manage contract and project changes to minimize disruption, assure technical accuracy and honor project priorities
  • Clearly document project artifacts, progress tracking and status reporting
  • Build relationships with customers, external partners and internal employees which foster productivity and positive work dynamics that enhance project success

Qualifications

  • 2 years of customer facing project management experience, within SaaS cloud environment is a plus but not mandatory
  • Proven skill in leading multi-disciplinary, international teams to achieve project goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout all organizational levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to distinguish when direct project management style is warranted or when coaching style is suitable 
  • Ability to adapt to customer cultures, policies, procedures, and decision making process while adhering to Retarus standards and advancing project progress
  • Experience in messaging/telecommunications industry and ISAE 3402 compliance
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
